Six Nigeria Premier League (NPL) stars will converge on Lagos for the unveiling of OWU Sportswear jerseys to be used by the trio of 3SC, ABS and Lobi Stars during the 2012/2013 season.

The players are goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye, Mutiu Adegoke, Sola Adeboye (3SC), Abdulrahman Bashir (ABS) as well as the duo of Tony Okpotu and Ezekiel Bassey (Lobi Stars).

“It’s a historic event for the OWU Sportswear team. From one team in 2010, we’ve progressed to three teams in 2012.

“The OWU trio are the only teams with replica jerseys for sale to supporters and football fans in Nigeria,” CEO OWU Sportswear, Tunji Brown said to supersport.com.

Supersport.com learnt that replicas of the NPL trio will be available for sale after the event.

OWU sealed a three-year deal with 3SC during the 2010/2011 season and is in the third year of the deal.

On the other hand, the brand is in its first year with the duo of ABS and Lobi Stars.

OWU Sportswear has since emerged as the leading sportswear branding clubs in the NPL and the Nigeria National League (NNL).
