Togolese striker, Saibou Badarou, who scored four goals to emerge goalking
at the just concluded GoTV Wafu Cup, in Ghana, is set to seal a deal with Glo
Premier League side, Bayelsa United, ojeksaikhoje.blogspot.com can report.
The performance of the striker was monitored by Bayelsa United gaffer,
Ladan Bosso, who wants to boost his side’s attack ahead of domestic and
continental assignments, in 2014.
“Negotiations have reached an advanced stage. Badarou is excited with the chance to play for a big team like Bayelsa
United.
“I monitored Badarou’s performance during the recently concluded Gotv Wafu
Cup and confirmed my findings. It’s a good move for us and he’s a good striker,”
Bosso told ojeksaikhoje.blogspot.com.
Badarou, who plays for Lome based Customs side, L'Association Sportive des
Dounes (fondly called AS Dounes), comes with great credentials after scoring 14
goals to emerge goalking in the just concluded Togolese Championnat National.
Dounes narrowly lost the title by two points and finished second behind
Angers FC.
