Ann Agumanu Chiejine ... away from football
Believe it or not, this beautiful woman was in goal for Nigeria in 1991 at
the inaugural Fifa Women’s World Cup.
Last Saturday, she led the Lagos State Women’s Team to win gold at the just
concluded 18th National Sports Festival.
Ann’s team scored 19 goals and conceded none.
“We worked hard to get the gold and I was confident no team will stop us. We
started our preparation before any other team,” she told ojeksaikhoje.blogspot.com.
